"I just finished reading these books, it is too hard to put into words how awesome these books are. If I didn't know better I would have thought I was outside living a magical adventure. This author has talent beyond reckoning and I can only hope that he continues to write. I would recommend this book to anyone who hasn't read it, and so far, I can truthfully say that it is one of the best books I have ever read."
The Ogre Menace

"I find that children's novels are amongst the hardest to write. Not only do you have to capture a child's attention and keep them reading, you will also have to challenge their imagination and cause them to think outside the box. I believe that the author captured this quite well in this book. The characters Dougal and his twin Derry while traveling will meet up on news of a kidnapping that only their dragon friend can help with. As they journey off to rescue the princess they will become true heroes. I believe this is one of the best children's' adventure books out there and more so I think the author captured the story flawlessly. The scenes were very vivid and as I read it there was no doubt in my mind that my niece would not love it. This is a truly good book. I highly recommend it."
